Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution, Phantasmal Flames is the second English expansion of the Mega Evolution era, carrying the set code ME02. It released worldwide, including the UK, on 14 November 2025. If you arrived here looking for a release date or a preorder window, that ship has sailed: the set has been out for more than eight months, and the search spike is about scarcity, not a launch.

Phantasmal Flames localises the Japanese set Inferno X(M2, released in Japan on 26 September 2025) and folds in cards from the Mega Gengar ex and Mega Diancie ex starter decks that launched in Japan on 5 September 2025. The Pokémon Company's official copy describes it as over 120 cards; community databases count 94 main-set cards plus 36 secret rares, 130 in total, broken down as 13 illustration rares, 17 ultra rares and 5 special illustration rares plus hyper-rare variants. Community trackers also note it is one of the smallest English main sets in years, which concentrates the chase.
